The INTENSE Program

The Taiwan Ministry of Education (MOE) launching the "International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program)" in 2024, aiming to attract more excellent international students to study and employment in Taiwan.

Requirements

  • Chinese Programs

    The Test of Chinese as a Foreign Language (TOCFL) should be at least A2 level in listening and reading (with a requirement to reach B1 level by the second year).

  • English Programs

    English proficiency should be at least CEFR B1 level (with a requirement to achieve TOCFL A2 level in listening and reading by the second year).

  • Academic performance

    Applicants should have above-average academic performance in their university or college, as evidenced by class or department rankings.

Implementation Stage of the INTENSE Program
  • Attend on-campus classes
  • Participate in off-campus internships
  • Pass evaluations by both the school and the company
  • Meet graduation requirements to obtain a degree
Career Counseling for Graduates
  • Graduates are required to fulfill their employment obligations as per the contract
  • Those interested in permanent residency employment will be assisted by the government through interdepartmental discussions
